Card Game Nook has no accounts, no login and no user database. Nothing you do while playing is transmitted to a server, because the games run entirely in your browser.

Stored on your device

• Game statistics — games played, games won, current and best streak, fastest time, fewest moves, best score. Held per game and per difficulty.
• An unfinished game — the board position and its undo history, so closing the tab does not lose your game.
• Your colour theme — light, dark or follow the system.

All of it lives in localStorage under keys beginning cgn:. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it permanently. None of it leaves the device.

Analytics

Page views are counted with Vercel Analytics, which is cookie-free and records no personal identifiers — it aggregates page paths, referrers, countries and device types. It cannot follow you to another website.

Advertising

This site is intended to be supported by Google AdSense. Advertising is currently offand no advertising script is loaded. If and when it is switched on, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertisements, and visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be shown a consent prompt before any such technology is used. You can review and change your choices from Google’s own Ad Center. Advertising will never be placed above a game board.

Embedded games

The embeddable frames load no analytics and set no cookies, so putting one on your own page does not add anything to your privacy obligations beyond the iframe itself.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, of any age. No personal information is requested at any point.

Changes

If this policy changes materially — in practice, if advertising is enabled — the change will be described on this page rather than announced by email, since there is no mailing list to announce it to.
